The SPbU Media Center presented the 3rd program of the cycle “Profession. How and what is taught at St. Petersburg state university” ‒ psychologist. Shaboltas Alla, Ph.D., professor, the dean of the Psychology Department at St. Petersburg State University, talks about the employment and labour market for professional psychologists. One of such areas of career development is scientific research. As a result of the implementation of the mega-grant of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 14.W03.31.0010 «Cognitive neuroscience of learning and language comprehension», students from SPbU got the opportunity to study and perform research projects at the unique scientific facilities of the Laboratory of Behavioural Neurodynamics, which have capabilities that are only available in that lab across the whole Russia. Our modern state-of-the-art research centre at SPbU from 2017 is a multi-dimensional investigation of human speech function.
