Frontiers’ Research Topic

Dear colleagues,

We are delighted to introduce the research topic from the journal Frontiers in Human Neuroscience – Brain-Behaviour Interfaces in Linguistic  Communication,  which have been prepared for more than two years. The editorial board included Yury Shtyrov, Ph.D., Head of the Laboratory of Behavioural Neurodynamics, SPbU, and Olga Shcherbakova, Ph.D., associated professor, Department of General Psychology, Faculty of Psychology, SPbU. 

The aim of this Research Topic is to provide a state-of-the-art overview of this diverse and multidisciplinary area of research, with special emphasis on bridging the gap between different methodologies. The issue includes 14 articles devoted to a comprehensive study of various aspects of human speech function. More than 66 authors from 11 countries took part in this project, including several studies carried out within the framework of our Laboratory.
