Research interests

Makarova’s scientific interests are related to cognitive studies of personality, neuropsychology, the search for a new methodology of cognition of personality in postneclassical science, and experimental existential psychology. In particular, the problems of describing personality self-change, stability and variability, the procedural nature of human beings, and non-constructive and irrational thinking.

In the Lab

Maria participates in the discussion of research design and selection of psychodiagnostic tools, as well as in the interpretation of the obtained data. She assists in recruiting participants for experiments, works with students, and participates in organizing laboratory events.
