Nikishkina Ulyana

Research interests

Ulyana’s main scientific interests are focused on the study of general psychology, psychology of emotions and certain aspects of psychiatry. Ulyana is interested in such problems as the mechanisms of cognitive processing of information of various types, the study of various character accentuations and their influence on intellectual features of a person, as well as the relationship between humor and cognitive functions. She adheres to an interdisciplinary approach, studies and actively applies neuroimaging and neurostimulation research methods.

In the Lab

Currently, Uliana is involved in projects dealing with issues related to stress induction, abstract and concrete concepts, and emotional aspects of perception of various stimuli. In particular, Uliana is involved in data collection, EEG data processing, and experiments related to TES stimulation.
